Our Home Management
Each of our homes has a dedicated Home Manager who is on call 24 hours a day with the primary responsibility for maintaining Jasmine’s high standards of care at all times. Our Home Managers are typically supported by two Deputy Managers in order to ensure that there is a member of the management team in all of our homes every day of the week. We believe this is important for the well-being of our residents and the peace of mind of their relatives.
Our Home Managers are assisted by qualified and experienced care teams, including specialist nurses. Our care home teams are dedicated to carrying out their duties 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and are committed to making a meaningful difference to the lives of the residents who live in our homes.
Our Jasmine Support Team
Our Home Managers and their teams are supported by our Jasmine Support Team. The key individuals of this team are as follows:
Chris Clark – Managing Director
Chris founded the company and is passionate about the worthwhile impact Jasmine’s care homes have on the lives of our residents and staff. Chris oversees all aspects of the running of the company on a day to day basis and sets the mission, aims, values and strategy of the business. Chris is also the ‘Responsible Individual’ registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Chris previously worked for Hermes private equity, where on behalf of his clients he came close to making a number of large acquisitions in the elderly care sector. It was this work experience, alongside Chris’ personal experience of elderly care homes whilst two of his close relatives lived in them, which led Chris into this rewarding vocation. Before working at Hermes, Chris worked at PwC, initially as a chartered accountant, and later in their corporate finance practice.
Dawn Louth – Compliance Support Manager
Dawn’s role is to continually drive high standards of care and compliance across the company by regularly performing audits at all our homes. Our nine bespoke audits cover every aspect of the running a care home and are completed at least quarterly at every home. Dawn also produces the action plans to implement the required improvements identified by her audits. She is then responsible for signing these action plans off, but only when she is totally satisfied that the home managers and their teams have thoroughly completed them. Dawn also tracks any complaints and safeguarding issues through to their full resolution, and produces our homes’ detailed monthly Jasmine Compliance Reports and Scores, which are used to closely monitor our homes.
Dawn is passionate about the importance of her role in continually driving better standards of care at all our homes. Dawn’s independence from the management of the homes, due to reporting directly to the Managing Director, is crucial to this. Dawn has worked for Jasmine since March 2019. Before joining Jasmine, Dawn worked as a Quality and Compliance Consultant supporting homes and carrying out mock inspections prior to CQC inspections. Dawn has worked in the Social Care Sector since 1990 and has held both management and operational Positions.
Steven Dexter – Team Support Manager
Steven’s role is primarily to provide additional support to our homes whenever their Jasmine Compliance Score falls, so that all our homes provide the highest standards of care at all times. In addition, Steven supports our Activities Co-ordinators to continually provide varied and engaging activities for our residents, oversees our New Starter Champion programme to ensure that all new starters at our homes are happy, and ensures that all our home Champions are trained to be able to maximise their positive impact in their area of expertise.
Steven is passionate about the importance of his role in both improving standards of care and making our homes as fun and rewarding to live and work at as possible. Steven has worked for Jasmine since June 2011 in various supporting management roles. Before joining Jasmine he gained 13 years of experience working his way up in the elderly care industry from carer to deputy manager.
Roz Martin – Support Hub Manager
Roz ensures the smooth running of all the support functions to the homes based at our central support hub, these include: accounts, IT, maintenance, human resources, recruitment and staff engagement. Roz is passionate about ensuring that our homes, our managers and our staff teams, have everything they need to provide the best possible care and accommodation to our residents at all times.
Roz joined Jasmine Healthcare in 2007 after raising her family, and since then has become a crucial member of the Jasmine team. Roz is supported by a team of four other dedicated professionals.
